Filmstar Saif Ali Khan is now a Memecoin in Crypto Post Attack

The recent attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in Mumbai has sparked the creation of three new memecoins dedicated to him in the past 72 hours. These coins seem to have emerged as a humorous and unconventional way for fans and members of the crypto community to show their support to the cinestar.

These memecoins were launched on the crypto platform pump.fun, where people can create tokens about anything or anyone. The first coin, Justice for Saif Ali Khan (Khan), has a market cap of $7.4K and has initiated 28 replies from the users supporting the actor.

The second coin, Saif Ali Khan Al Robot (SaifKhanAI), has a market cap of $7.4K, and the name reflects the usage of artificial intelligence technology. The third, Justice for Saif Ali Khan (Saif), is also pegged at $7.4K market cap but it has not attracted much attention yet. These coins were probably intended to draw attention to the actor’s situation and offer support in the form of memecoins.

Memecoins are meme-based, internet coins that are usually associated with specific events or personalities. While most of them barely have any worth, some, such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, have turned into worldwide sensations worth billions. Notably, the former U.S. President Donald Trump recently released his official meme coin dubbed TRUMP on January 17th. The coin rose by over 110% within 24 hours of its launch and has been listed on popular exchanges such as Binance and CoinSwitch.

The Saif Ali Khan coins may not grow to the size of Dogecoin or Trump Coin, but they demonstrate how fast the crypto space responds to events and trends. In the contemporary world, anything can be a memecoin – Bollywood, politics, or even internet memes.
