NFC Summit returns to Lisbon for its 5th edition with a new venue and a digital art-first vision

Lisbon, Portugal — June 4–6, 2026

NFC Summit 2026 returns to Lisbon from June 4 to 6 with a radically expanded vision: a three-day festival where art is not a side program, but the central structure.

Hosted at the Unicorn Factory Lisboa in Beato, the summit transforms a historic industrial complex into a large-scale, immersive cultural experience. The 2026 edition marks a turning point for NFC, positioning the event as a leading global platform at the intersection of digital art, Web3, and contemporary culture.

The art program is co-organized by Arab Bank Switzerland and curated in collaboration with Fanny Lakoubay and the 100 collectors collective.

A curated takeover of an industrial landmark

Kilometer Zero: the Central Plaza

At the heart of the venue, the Central Plaza becomes “Kilometer Zero” — the point where all paths converge.

A monumental triptych installation by Dmitri Cherniak anchors the space. Standing three meters tall, the sculpture runs a continuous generative system, evolving in real time.

Surrounding the plaza, an outdoor exhibition unfolds through four container galleries featuring curated selections from leading digital art ecosystems including Cult of Crypto Art, OpenSea, and NORMIES.

This central node acts as a meeting ground for collectors, artists, and visitors — a place to begin, pause, and reconnect.

The Art Building — 4 floors of exhibitions

The historic Fábrica de Moagem — a former flour mill active from 1897 to 2011 — becomes the vertical backbone of the art program.

Its preserved industrial architecture hosts a four-floor curated journey:

Arab Bank Switzerland Exhibition — SYSTEMS

A full floor curated by Nina Roehrs explores how artists engage with systems — from generative algorithms and AI models to blockchain infrastructures and financial mechanisms.

The exhibition includes works from the bank’s collection, featuring artists such as Kim Asendorf, Jack Butcher, Linda Dounia, Andreas Gysin, Larva Labs, and Operator.
Finalists of the ABS Digital Art Prize 2026 will also be showcased.

Two additional curated exhibition floors

Dedicated spaces bring together leading voices in blockchain, AI, and digital art, including BOTTO, Danae (with Eko33), Eterno Gallery, Vhils, Bryan Brinkman, and others.

Expect site-specific installations, solo presentations, large-scale projections, and unexpected interventions integrated into the building’s machinery.

Rave Cave

The basement transforms into an immersive environment where digital artworks interact with industrial structures, scenographed by RNA Studio, with a lineup of major artists to be announced.

Built for collectors, not just visitors

The curation is designed to create real encounters between artists, galleries, and collectors.

Guided discovery, contextualized works, and curated interactions shape an experience where audiences spend time with the art rather than simply passing through it.

Beyond the exhibitions

The program extends into curated side moments across the site:

  • Artist-led brunches
  • Private vernissages
  • Late-night immersive events
  • Live mural activations

A limited number of exhibition opportunities remain open for selected projects.

Expanding the NFC universe

Alongside the art program, NFC Summit 2026 introduces new thematic formats to learn AI, Japan Culture and Longevity practices.

  • ACAI for Kids: A hands-on program introducing kids to AI and creativity through playful, educational workshops.
  • Kawaii Summit: A celebration of Japanese pop culture through collectible cards, Pokémon, art toys, plushies, and contemporary collectibles.
  • Longevity Day: A gathering of researchers, founders, and innovators exploring the future of human lifespan and wellbeing.
